Terms and Conditions

Loop Remote (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides membership-based virtual coworking services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Service Description

Loop Remote is a virtual coworking community offering:

• Live focus sessions and productivity coaching

• Community access through Slack and Zoom

• Peer accountability and support systems

• Productivity tools and resources

2. Membership and Subscription

• Membership is €299 per month, billed in advance.

• Access begins once payment is confirmed.

• Memberships renew automatically unless canceled.

• Prices may change with 30 days’ prior notice.

Onboarding and Cohort Placement

• After purchase, members receive access to our Slack community within a couple of days.

• To be placed in a cohort, each member must schedule and complete a short onboarding interview (15–30 minutes) so we can understand goals and working style.

• The five (5) business day cohort placement period begins once the onboarding call is scheduled. If a member delays scheduling, the placement process cannot move forward, and no compensation will apply for that delay.

• Cohort placement may take up to five (5) business days after the call is scheduled. This one-time onboarding period is part of the membership.

• If placement takes longer than five (5) business days after scheduling, members will be compensated for each additional weekday missed. Compensation is calculated by dividing the monthly subscription fee by the number of weekdays in that month.

3. Refunds and Cancellations

• Memberships are flexible and can be canceled anytime. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

• We generally do not offer refunds once a billing cycle has started.

EU and US Customers: You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, unless you begin using the membership immediately (for example, by joining Slack or attending a session). By using the service during this period, you expressly waive your right to a refund.

4. Sprint Week Passes (Time-Limited Offers)

• Sprint Week passes are one-time, fixed-date offers designed as an introduction to Loop Remote.

• Access includes Slack, focus sessions, and rituals only during the announced dates.

• Passes do not auto-renew and may only be purchased once per person.

• Refunds for Sprint Weeks follow our Refund Policy. Passes are non-refundable once the week begins, except if we are unable to provide Slack or focus sessions for five consecutive weekdays.

• Continued participation after Sprint Week requires purchasing a monthly membership.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete account information

• Keep login credentials secure

• Use the service lawfully and respectfully

• Not share unauthorized access

Prohibited activities include: harassment, offensive content, unauthorized access attempts, or commercial solicitation without permission.

6. Community Guidelines

• Treat all members with respect and inclusion

• Support a positive, professional environment

• Attend sessions regularly (inactive members may lose their cohort seat)

• Report violations to our team

7. Intellectual Property

• All Loop Remote content, features, and branding are owned by us.

• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

• You retain ownership of content you create but grant us a license to use it for service provision.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is collected and processed according to our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to this processing.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide consistent access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Downtime may occur due to:

• Scheduled maintenance

• Technical issues outside our control

• Force majeure events

• Third-party service disruptions

Refunds for outages: If we are unable to provide focus sessions or Slack access for a full business week (five consecutive weekdays), you will receive a proportional refund equal to one quarter (1/4) of your monthly subscription fee for each such week of service not provided.

Refunds are not issued for partial disruptions, such as occasional session cancellations or temporary technical issues, where overall service remains accessible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before a claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Termination

• You may cancel anytime through your account or by contacting support.

• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, non-payment, or business reasons (with 30 days’ notice).

• Serious violations may result in immediate termination.

12. Dispute Resolution

• EU/Portugal: These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Lisbon courts have jurisdiction. Consumers may also access alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

• US: These terms are governed by the laws of your state of residence. Some disputes may be subject to arbitration where applicable.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Significant changes will be notified via email or posted on our website. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

15. Severability
